Living with Art

The book is a fine introduction to the world of art. It is clearly written and includes numerous drawings, reproductions of paintings and other media. The history of art and its different periods are outlined, explained and coordinated with what happened in world history during each period. It is an excellent reference book for the beginner and the advanced art student.

I bought this for an art class and find it very informative and well written. The author tries very hard to expand the mind of the reader to view all things as artistic while explaining the history and evolution of different art forms.

Good Bargain

For the price I paid the book was in good condition, no writing on the inside, no missing pages. The book looked a little beaten up but the content was there, so worth it.
